Most computers come straight from the factory set up with the screen resolution set at 640x480 pixels, the words (font) displayed on the screen too large, and the brightness set too low. To get maximum viewing enjoyment, you may want to change these settings. We recommend you consult the manual you got with your computer or press F1 button on your keyboard to get help if you are unsure on how to do this.

  • Adjusting the resolution.
  • Ideally you want to have the resolution set at a minimum of '800 by 600' pixels, and ideally set at '1024 by 768 pixels'. Especially if you have a monitor that is 17" or larger.

  • Adjusting the size of the words (font) on the screen - generic instructions.
  • Go to the tool bar at the top of Browser. Click on 'View', then select 'Text size' in the drop down menu. Moving your mouse out to the right, you will see a selection of sizes (Largest / Large / Medium / Smaller / Smallest). You will have a bullet point next to one of these. Click on the next size down. You should see a noticeable difference on the screen. Move down until it is still comfortable for you to read. This is easily adjusted, so have a go at this regardless of whether you feel confident about adjusting the resolution as described above :-)

  • Adjusting the brightness of the screen.
  • You will be amazed at the possible enhancement of the color and brightness of the items displayed in our shop if you increase these on your monitor (screen).   • Step 1: Finding the 'ideal' item(s) you are looking for.
  • If you know exactly what you are looking for, then click on:

    • Search our Catalog.
    • Type in the product you are looking for into the link on the top left-hand-side of the page. If you have a price constraint, (or you only want to search only by this parameter), indicate the range you want it to search within. Press the submit button. Click on any of the results to go to that item.

    • Browse by Category.
    • If you have a broad idea of what item(s) you are looking for, then use our 'Browse by Category' link on the top left-hand-side of the page. Simply select either the main category, or one of the sub-categories below that interests you, click on it, and explore the listings in that area.

    • What's Hot.

      Any item that we have found is a 'hot seller', or we have a special promotion on that item (for example a deep discount), has the 'What's Hot' icon (shown above) next to it. These items have also proven themselves in giving our customers great satisfaction.

    • Products From New calculates countries outside of the USA with their local currency price for all items using competitive exchange rates that are updated on a daily basis. The local currency price displayed next to the item is converted to your local currency. Occasionally, this amount may vary from the sum of each individual item's local currency price listed in your shopping cart, because of rounding differences that arise when converting the figures. This amount, if any, will be very small (up to one US cent per item). This is purely for your convenience, as the actual transaction will be processed in United States Dollars (USD$) by you selecting either Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, or Pay Pal as your method of payment.

      Some products may also have an Adobe pdf option. This is a downloadable data sheet about the product to give you more in-depth information.   • Step 3: Add an item to your Shopping Basket.
  • Simply click on the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button when you have found an item you would like to buy.

    If your computer will not let you add items to your basket, then you need to make some changes to allow cookies. Please check the following: To set the browser to always allow cookies for our website (In Explorer 6 on PC):

    • Go go "Tools" on the top menu
    • Press "Internet Options"
    • Press the "Privacy" tab at the top
    • Press "Edit" in the Privacy panel
    • Into the window which says "address of website" type "" (Do not type in the apostrophes " ")

    • The address will appear in the bottom panel with the words "always allow"
    • Click "OK" to go back to settings, and click "OK" again to accept your changes.

    You will then be able to view your order inclusive of shipping charges. You will find that you can add some small items together (get 2 instead of one for example) and the freight costs will not rise. Take advantage of this 'discount' by adding a small item to your shopping cart when you ordering other item(s). Have a play with adding and removing items to see the effect they make.
    We are sure you will find our prices very competitive, as we do not charge over-inflated Postage + Packing charges like many shops.

    All prices are processed in US dollars. Click on the 'Proceed to the Checkout' button if you wish to pay for your order, or on the 'Continue Shopping' button if you want to make additional purchases.

    Just as in a physical store, your shopping basket holds items until you are ready to pay. You will not be charged for any items until you proceed all the way through the checkout, view your order total including shipping charges and confirm your purchase.

    Once you have signed in ('Log In'), you will see underneath the 'Basket Total' the US dollar amount converted into your preferred currency. This is purely for your convenience, as the actual transaction will be processed in United States Dollars (USD$) by you selecting either one of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, or you can pay by PayPal, or electronically transfer funds into our bank account as your method of payment.   • Step 4: Gift Wrapping.
  • You may choose gift wrapping paper and an accompanying message for each product in your shopping basket.

    Click on 'Basket' at the top of the page to view your shopping basket. Then click on the 'Gift wrap this item?' link next to the product. Choose your gift wrapping paper from the selection provided. You can also add a message. This will be handwritten on an accompanying card.

    PLEASE NOTE: For each different address that you would like to send products to, please make a separate order. We will remove any price stickers and try and minimize all legally required paperwork showing pricing for Customs purposes. The receipt will be sent separately to the billing address. Any gift wrapping charge will be itemized on your receipt.

  • Step 5: Log In.
  • To proceed with your order, click the 'Proceed to the Checkout' button when viewing your shopping basket (click on 'Basket' at the top of the page). If you have ordered from us before, you will then be able to log in using your e-mail address and password. If you are a new customer, you will need to register with us.

    We recommend that you NOT use an email address from a free service (e.g. Yahoo! or Hotmail) with your account information. Instead, please enter a traditional address, such as that from, or one issued to you by your ISP (Internet Service Provider). This gives us better assurance of being able to contact you should we need to, as well as helping us protect your account and prevent fraud. Thank you.

  • Step 6: Confirm your Billing Address.
  • Your receipt will be sent to this address. If you are paying by credit card, it must match your credit card billing address.

  • Step 7: Confirm your Shipping Address.
  • For APO or FPO addresses, please enter APO or FPO in the City field and one of the following two-letter codes in the State field: AE for Armed Forces Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Canada; AA for Armed Forces Americas; and AP for Armed Forces Pacific. Also make sure that you have selected United States in the Country field.

    If you would like your order sent to your billing address, check the box next to 'Ship to Billing Address'. Please make sure the name of the recipient (person getting the order) is filled in correctly.

  • Step 8: Redeem your Gift Certificates.
  • If you have any Products From New Gift Certificates you may enter the claim code in your shopping basket. (Click on 'Basket' at the top of the page).

    If your Gift Certificate is not all used up you may use it's remaining value on another order.

    If your Gift Certificate doesn't cover the cost of the order, you can pay for the balance by credit card or PayPal.

  • Step 9: Choose your method of Payment.
  • When your billing and shipping addresses have been confirmed you will be given a choice of payment methods.

    This is good time to review your order before you are taken to our secure server. Click on the method of payment.

  • What currency are items listed at and what am I paying in?
  • All items are billed in United States Dollars (US$). Since we are selling to buyers world-wide, we have chosen to set our prices in US Dollars, a currency which is familiar to most people around the world.

    For your convenience, we also show the conversion from USD$ into your local currency next to each item. Once you have placed an item in your shopping basket, look at the bottom right-hand side of your shopping basket (Basket Total) and you can select your local currency for an appropriate conversion. You will still be billed/debited in US Dollars.

    Products From New calculates your local currency prices for all items using competitive exchange rates that are updated on a daily basis. The local currency total displayed in your shopping cart is computed as the sum total of the US dollar prices for each item ordered, and then converted to your local currency. Occasionally, this amount may vary from the sum of each individual item?s local currency price listed in your shopping cart, because of rounding differences that arise when converting the figures. This amount, if any, will be very small (up to one US cent per item). The actual transaction will be processed in United States Dollars (USD$) by you selecting either Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, or Pay Pal as your method of payment. If you select personal check (cheque) then you write out the amount on your personal check in your own local currency.   • The shipping is different for different items (based on weight), and where the item is being shipped to. To work out the shipping charges, find the item you are interested in, click on the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button below the item's price, and you go to your shopping basket. Select which country you are wanting to ship to (from drop down box) and you will see the shipping charges.

    To see the shipping charges for more than 1 of the same item change the quantity in the Quantity field to 2 and hit the Update button in the center of the Shopping Basket page.

    To see the shipping charges for several different items: find one item, click on the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button below the item's price. Then, click the 'Continue Shopping' button on the your shopping basket page. Then find the next item, click on the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button below the item's price, and you will see the updated shipping. To add another item, hit the 'Continue Shopping' button again and repeat the operation as many times as needed.

  • Do you have any retail locations?
  • No. We do not operate any retail store locations. All of our services are provided through our Web site and our central order processing facility.   • Do you offer a printed catalog?
  • No. We do not offer a printed catalog. We are continuously adding new and updated items to our Web site, causing a printed catalog to quickly become out of date.

  • What if I can't find an item I want?
  • If you need help finding an item on our site, please use our Contact Us form with any questions.
    We will be glad to assist you in your search, or if the item is not available, help you find a suitable substitute.

  • Do you offer any navigation tips?
  • Here are a few navigational tips: 1) Do not use "quotes" in the search fields. 2) Leave out small words in a title search such as the, and, a, etc. 3) Search artists by their last names. 4) Search by categories.

  • How can I tell if an item is in stock?
  • On each product page there is a phrase that indicates product availability. If an item is in stock, this will state "Usually ships in 24 hours." If we are in the process of restocking an item, the phrase will state "Usually ships in 3-7 days." If the item is custom made every time (and therefore made in very limited quantities), then the phrase will state "Usually ships in 14 days". The wait is always worth it! These time frames indicate when an item will leave our facility. Delivery time is additional, and subject to which method you choose to have your items shipped to you by. (Varies from 3 to 25 business days.)
    Please contact us if you have a particular deadline of when you require an item (Birth date / Wedding Anniversary etc), so we can be aware of this immediately and make heaven and earth move to get it to you in time, or advise you immediately that we cannot met that date, and make alternative plans.

  • What Is The Difference Between 'Best Before' Date On My Food Item From New Zealand, and the 'Expiry Date'?
  • The good thing is the 'Best Before' date is not the 'Expiry' date. New Zealand food manufacturers are very conservative when it comes to setting the best before date and the expiry date on all food items.

    You have at least 6-9 months between the best before date and the expiry date before you will notice any difference in flavour (flavor). (If you notice any difference at all with any part of the appearance or favor of the item you have purchased from Products From New

    In particular with Vegemite you will have at least 12-18 months from the Best Before date!

  • I'm not receiving Products From New
  • Most likely, your email provider is unintentionally sending important email from Products From New email to your Spam or bulk mail folder.

    - Returns Policy

    Within 365 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any of the items you purchased from Products From New, for a full refund (we'll also refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error).

    We cannot accept returns of items that have an expiry date on them - like perishable food items, or items returned more than 365 days after delivery. You cannot demand a refund or replacement because you have 'changed your mind' or 'do not like the item' anymore (it has gone out of fashion / you have grown too tall to fit the item since purchase etc).

  • Replacement of Damaged or Defective Items
  • Products From New will replace items only if they are defective or damaged.

    Faulty Item: If for any reason a faulty item has slipped past our beady-eyed quality controller, please accept our apology. We will organize a replacement immediately. Please click here to contact us, and provide us with as many details possible.

    Damaged Item: If for some reason, an item has arrived damaged, we will organize a replacement immediately.
    Did you make a comment to your postal provider that your goods had been damaged and what they could do for you? Or was the damage only evident once you opened the package?
    Can you please do the following for us:

    1. Please take a (digital) photo of the packaging material and damaged item please.

  • We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your refund. If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account or issued to you as a Gift Certificate (will not expire), available to use the next time you place an order at Products From New

  • If the item was designated as a gift when purchased and the recipient wishes to return it, he or she will receive a gift certificate for the value of the item. This gift certificate can be used at any time toward future purchases at Products From New and will be mailed to the same address to which the order was shipped.

    If the item wasn't designated as a gift when purchased, the refund is sent to the gift giver.

  • Are you Using a Promotional Code or Gift Certificate?
  • If you pay for all or part of an item with a promotional coupon or code and later wish to return the item, that part of your refund will be credited to your account, available to use the next time you place an order at Products From New Please note, however, that promotional credit may be refunded and reused only if the promotion has not yet expired.
