Crafted from New Zealand Rimu wood, these weather instruments (Barometer, Tide Clock, Thermometer, Weather Station) have precision German movements in them. (Sorry, we do not make the 'movements' in New Zealand - and German made is one of the best). People put them in their boats, or hang them in a prominent position in their office / study.

I am always checking our one to see what the weather is up to - so unpredictable here in 'skinny' New Zealand.

You can stand on Mount Eden in central Auckland (where we live - NZ's largest city of 1.5 million people), and look to the West and see the West Coast and look to the East and see the East Coast (beaches)!!! Not that the whole of New Zealand is that narrow, but gives you an idea!
