Dear Kristina, Sure, I'll write a testimonial. Here goes: I left New Zealand more than 30 years ago, and have lived a chocolate-fish starved existence pretty well ever since, except for the rare occasion when a friend would bring one back for me from trips to London. Apparently there was a shop there where she could get them. At long last, I thought there had to be an easier way, so I went on the internet. I spied the website address of the manufacturer on the packaging and tracked down their email contact details. Although they have no internet sales themselves they passed on links for businesses that did. That's how I arrived at Products-From-NZ.com. I thought I'd give it a whirl, wondering if the postage costs would be the limiting factor.

I ordered a generous supply of Chocolate Fish - the memories of the frozen chocolate fish I got for 3 cents at Moana swimming pool in Dunedin still haunt my sweet-tooth moments - and some milk bottle sweets thrown in for good measure. The package arrived in record time and perfect condition, and the sweet, memory-laden, real-McCoy chocolate fish were MINE! All mine! - but not for long. My husband volunteered them as prizes at a church event on the beach, for which they were- it has to be said- perfect. So I am again looking at a cupboard that is bare but at least I have the perfect excuse to order some more!

I wish I could get you to send me some kumera and yams – Australians believe sweet potato to be kumera and of course as all good kiwi’s know, they are two very different vegetables. If you have any ideas, let me know. It would be easy if you could grow them from seeds but you need cuttings and there must be a reason they haven’t been grown here.
