We ordered some New Zealand themed Christmas decorations for some family in Europe. We decided to break with the traditional wintery images and wintery type decorations and we gave New Zealand beach/summer themed ornaments. We were very pleasantly surprised when we first got them- the picture of the Kiwi lying on the beach with Rangitoto in the background was very unique and they were themselves very well made and quite beautiful! They also went down a treat and were immediately hung with pride of place on the Christmas tree and with the snow falling outside, our family from Europe could get a small taste of what a a New Zealand Christmas is like! It was on my holiday that I bought a cute cuddly little toy lamb for my grandaughter. She became instantly attached to it and insists that it go everywhere with her.
