Five Flax - East Coast Riesling 2006 is deliciously fresh and crisp, with delicate floral characters and zesty citrus flavours. Great for per - dinner drinks. Serve chilled.
Color: Pale gold.
Sweet mouth filling citrus flavours and a distinct mineral note leads through to well balanced acidity and a round smooth pleasing finish.

Grapes from several vineyards were chosen specifically from varying sites around the Marlborough region including Saint Clair’s own vineyards at Doctors Creek to add complexity and completeness to this Riesling.
The grapes were picked in the coolest part of the day and after crushing, de-stemming and settling, each component was tank fermented separately at cool temperatures with selected yeasts so as to retain freshness and intensity of fruit flavor.
Only the best components were selected for the final blend and the resulting wine was balanced, stabilized and prepared for bottling under Stelvin finish.
