"It was not difficult to come up with a title for this album, because that's just what it is, A collection of some of the most popular children's stories ever heard on radio.
I am flooded with memories from my early childhood of the Sunday morning Junior Request programme and all those wonderful stories that would be played each week. Flick, The Fire Engine, Dinky Pinky, Diana and a host of others. So when in 1978 I began hosting my own Children's Show on radio, it wasn't too surprising that yet another generation found these same old favorites to be theirs, and though the days of Don Linden's Small World are now long gone, the record library is still in tact.
In answer to many people's requests, and to introduce yet another generation to the Magic age of wireless, I've once again opened the record library to bring you just some of what I consider to be 'The Classic Collection'.
I hope it will bring happy times for the young and happy memories for the young at heart."

Although I boast that my memory of things decades old is better than my memory of how to online order, I cannot ellaborate much more on this childrens story that I remember from 40 years ago while listening to the sunday morning request session.
A name that comes to mind is " Marama". The story is loosly based on a boastfull Koala bear that chalenges the moon to a race, and after losing must forfit his voice.
